...I have really just started out shooting nudes, can I ask y'all for some C&C on this and the other three that the link will take you to..?

Two quick notes for artinnudity fans...

1. Remember, you do not need to put your image behind an LJ-cut if it is 600px on the longest side or smaller. More than one image, do please cut. But your first one need not be cut, even if it's not safe for work.

This is an inherently not safe for work community and our members are smart people who know not to add the community to their friends page if that could cause them an issue at work.

So forgo the first lj-cut and let your art shine!

2. If you watch this community but are not actually a member, please note that you're not going to see anything anymore. All entries are friends-locked at the requirement of LJ, meaning that you must be a member of the community to see any images. There are twice as many watchers as there are members, so somewhere near a thousand of you probably don't realize that there's content in this community and you're not seeing it.

So join - all you need is to be over 18 and have your birthdate in your profile so we can confirm that.

3. Go Rockies! :-) (sorry)

We, the maintainers of this community, are attempting to bring artinnudity into full compliance with LiveJournal's Terms of Service. This includes the monumental task of deleting ALL previous public entries which contain "graphic nudity." And there have been nearly 5000 posts made to this community since its humble start in May 2001. A great deal of time is being devoted by the maintainers in order to keep the community alive. We have begun with the most recent posts and are currently working on entries made back in 2004. I, personally, have sacrificed hours of my day to attain the goal set by the Abuse Prevention Team. And in the interest of organizing the community, we are also deleting posts, public or otherwise, which contain broken links. Eventually, the only posts viewable by non-members will be informational entries made by maintainers. This is what we must accomplish in order to ensure the survival of artinnudity. I ask that our new and current members be supportive of this process AND continue to post! We have ensured that all new entries will automatically appear as Protected, no matter what security setting is chosen by the member. So, get posting! And for those of you who made public entries in the past, repost your best shots. As always, thank you for your support and cooperation!
